This Privacy Policy explains how Inkblade (the "App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our game. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this policy carefully.

In short: We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data ourselves. Your game progress is saved only on your own device. Third-party advertising partners (Google AdMob) may collect limited data to serve ads. Details below.

1. Information We Collect

Inkblade itself does not collect any personal information. We have no accounts, no servers, and no analytics of our own.

Data Stored on Your Device (Local Only)

Game save data — your progress, unlocked items, settings, and statistics are stored locally on your device (via local device storage).
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any server.
You can erase it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the App.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK)

The App is supported by advertising served by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). Google, as our advertising partner, may collect certain information to measure ad performance and to serve relevant ads, including:

Advertising ID — a unique identifier Google resets on your device, used to personalize ads and measure performance.
Device information — device model, operating system version, screen size, and language.
IP address — used for general location (such as country-level) and fraud prevention.
App usage data — app opens, ad impressions, and diagnostic/crash data.

Ad content shown in the App is capped at Teen (T) suitability, matching our 13+ audience. Before any ad is requested, the App asks Google's consent platform (UMP) whether personalized advertising is allowed for your region; where consent is required (EEA/UK/CH) no ad SDK is initialized until you decide, and you can revisit that choice any time from Settings → Data → Ad choices inside the App.

3. Opt-Out & Choices

Ads personalization: You can opt out of personalized ads. On Android, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID / reset ID, or follow Google's ads personalization controls.
European Users (EEA/UK): If located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you will be asked to give or deny consent for personalized advertising before ads are shown, as required by the GDPR. You can change your choice at any time in the app.
Limit Ad Tracking settings on your device are respected by our ad partner.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Inkblade is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13: the App has no accounts, no age gate, and no way to determine a player's age, so ad requests are never tagged as child-directed and no under-age-of-consent flag is set. All ad personalization follows the consent choice described in Section 3 (for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland) and the device-level ads controls elsewhere. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will delete it.

5. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

GDPR (Europe): You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us below.
CCPA (California): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal data.
Because we store no personal data ourselves, these rights are applied in full by simply uninstalling or clearing app data, or by using the ad opt-out controls in Section 3.

6. Data Security

We do not store your data on our servers, so there is no central database to compromise. Game save data remains on your device, protected by your device's own security. Ad data is handled and protected by Google's security measures.

7. Third-Party Links

Ads shown in the App may link to third-party websites or apps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be announced within the App or on our store listing. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
